07:00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
The drive to Pu Luong takes about 4 hours if the roads are clear.
10:00 AM: We’ll stop for a quick break halfway through the trip. You can enjoy the beautiful villages along the way.
12:00 PM: We’ll arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve and have lunch at a local restaurant. You can then check into your room (usually check-in is at 02:00 PM) and relax for a bit.
01:30 PM: Time for an afternoon trekking.
We’ll drive to the meeting spot and start our 10km trek. We’ll explore Kho Muong, a hidden village surrounded by a valley. We’ll also see the biggest cave in Pu Luong, using trails through streams and mountains.
Then, we’ll leave the village and trek to beautiful Bang village, which has remote houses and pretty terrace fields.
We’ll arrive back at the hotel by 05:00 PM so you can relax.
In the evening, you can take a cooking class. We’ll have a delicious dinner at 07:00 PM, then you can spend the rest of the night to relax. Overnight at your hotel in Pu Luong.
07:00 AM: Have breakfast and get ready for the day. We’ll leave at 08:30 AM.
08:45 AM: We’ll drive to Ban Cong and then walk for 2.5km. We’ll cross a bridge to get to one of Pu Luong’s prettiest villages with a big stream. Along the river, you’ll see beautiful views, rice fields, and village life. You can keep an eye out for the giant water wheels, which are really cool inventions.
Next, we’ll experience bamboo rafting at Chieng Lau Dam. You’ll paddle the raft upstream with local people and have fun on the river.
10:00 AM: The raft will land on the other side of the river. Then, we’ll take another 2km walk through rice fields and villages, making a loop. We’ll meet our driver on the main road and head back to the hotel to check out by 11:30 AM.
We’ll then have lunch at a local restaurant.
01:00 PM: Get ready for the bus ride back to Hanoi. We should arrive at your hotel around 06:30 PM. The tour ends when we drop you off at your hotel.
